Wow! What a really pleasant surprise! After walking past the place many times over the past couple of years I had made the very incorrect assumption that it was just a local gin mill. Last night I found out that it was a very busy local restaurant with a friendly and efficient staff serving great food! Mushroom soup garnished with a little truffle oil, carmelized shaved brussel sprout salad with apple, fried chicken filet with pink coleslaw and some spicy, outrageous relish served on a fresh brioche roll with fries, and mac and cheese made with house produced cheddar were just some of the dishes we tried....all delicious...we will be back!
Great menu with something for everyone - macaroni & cheese, wings, oysters, short ribs ... all great! Cool atmosphere, inside and out. Nice bar area. Friendly and fun waitstaff.
A fine gem in Deep River with fare offerings for all ages! The burgers and pugs wings are delicious! For a busy Saturday night, we did wait a bit for the bartender to take our order, but it was worth the wait.
Had an amazing meal tonight. Original menu with great choices. Food is prepared extremely well and complemented by topshelf service.
